AI creations
prompting with a creative edge
Whenever I get a new idea, I immediately run it through my AI sandbox to see what kind of wild stuff we can cook up. I don't just use one tool; I'm constantly prompting all the major players—ChatGPT, Meta, Gemini, Copilot, and Adobe Firefly. I treat them like different creative teammates, making sure to use their specific strengths. Maybe one AI helps me nail the overall concept, another gives me some sick visual options, and a third makes the writing sound exactly right. By taking what one gives me and feeding it to the next, I can quickly explore tons of options. This method lets me get to the good ideas way faster and end up with something much cooler than if I just tried to figure it all out myself.

photography
behind the lens. or iPhone. whichever's closer.
I certainly wouldn't consider myself a shutterbug, but in a pinch, I've been known to nab a few decent shots. My trick is I simply try to frame a good design. Not really sure what the official rules for photography are, but hey, when the boss calls and says they need some pics - I can usually nail a few through. My official tools of the trade are my Canon Rebel and whatever drone I can get my hands on (I'm partial to DJI's) . When I have time to think it through. When I'm on the go it's my trusty iPhone and faith in its autofocus.

in the lab
welcome to the art kitchen
I certainly don't sketch as much as I used to - but I've been known to rock a pencil or two ;) For years and years pencil was my medium of choice - but after the mid 2000's its simply a way to get down a basic idea and then quickly onto the screen to really get to work. That being said, to this day, there is nothing more relaxing that curling up on the couch with a solid inch of computer paper and some mechanical pencils and just seeing what happens.

ita: code of the dragon
or how I got to go to San Diego Comic-Con

So this was my great idea instead of college. At the time, it seemed like way more fun and an easy way to make tons of money. It did turn out to be a ton of fun ;) And I got to work with an international team of artists and tour the southwest and west coast, so that was cool too! There's still some random copies on Amazon, and those old school walk-in Amazons called Barnes & Nobles as well.
