Email: No School Like the Old School

So there's going to be a recurring theme through all the marketing posts: know your audience. That being said, there is absolutely hands-down no better form of mass marketing than email marketing. Even today, fifteen+ years after your first amazon.com email. Yes, they're annoying, and yes you get a 1000 a day. But allow me to retort:

You still have to read the headline or at least sender to decide whether to delete it or not.
At least one in the pile is going to look interesting - heck you might even open it.
I can give you five examples over the last month of random emails that I opened and either signed up or bought something.
The point is, in 2022 email marketing is absolutely worth your time and effort. You've already done the hard work of getting your leads contact information, and that was more than half the job: now its time to monetize that info and get some campaigns together. We'll focus on those in future posts but for now, get those lists together, grab your favorite CRM and email client and put some good early 2000 itunes jams (I'm a my chemical romanace / fallout boy guy - no judging!) and get to work ;)
